NOVEMBER CAMPS

Rock 101

Starting Wednesday, November 1st

Rock 101 is our easy-going and informative beginner-level camp, beginning Wednesday, November 1st. In our relaxed, professional and non-judgmental atmosphere you’ll get to learn the basics of being in a band. Over four rehearsals we will introduce you to the basic concepts of playing live music in a group ensemble. Topics covered include: tempo and time signature, song structures and dynamics, band etiquette and proper rehearsal preparation. If you are looking for that perfect starting point to begin your Rock journey, this is what you’ve been waiting for!

Rock 201: Tom Petty Camp

Starting Sunday, October 29th

Well let’s get to the point and roll another… Well, you get the idea! Starting Sunday, October 29th at our Rock 201: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Camp you can have your last dance with Mary Jane and swing along with some good, ol’ fashioned Americana Rock! Schmooze along to your favorite Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers classics such as “Listen to Her Heart”, “I Won’t Back Down” and “I Need to Know”. This camp concludes with an in-studio VIP performance party on your fourth rehearsal.

Rock 201: Build-Your-Own Camp – Alt-Rock

Starting Wednesday, November 1st

If you are a band of five Rock Moms or Dads who think it’s about time to get out of the garage and do some serious damage, we have the opportunity for you! You provide the musicians and songs, we’ll provide the studio and attentive one-one-one assistance from one of our awesome Instructors to help you be the best band you can be! Top it off with your very own VIP performance party at our studio on your fourth rehearsal, RCFD’s Build-Your-Own Camp option is a great way to whip your ideal band into shape!

Open positions: This “Alt-Rock” Build-Your-Own-Camp is currently full but Contact Denise today to schedule your own Rock 101, 201 or 301 camp space!

Rock 201: A ‘Rat Pack’ Christmas Camp

Starting Thursday, November 2nd

Grab your fedora and fix your tie, your private booth is right this way, Mr Sinatra! At our ‘Rat Pack’ Christmas Camp beginning Thursday, November 2nd, you’ll be able to swing and croon along to the holiday standards by the members of the notorious Rat Pack! Don’t take let that buster give you no jive, you’ll be the boss this Christmas as you are your crew show your stuff, with such classics as “Jingle Bells” by Frank Sinatra, “The Christmas Song” by Sammy Davis Jr and “Winter Wonderland” by Dean Martin! This camp concludes with an in-studio VIP performance party on your fourth rehearsal.

Rock 301: R&B Camp

Starting Monday, October 30th

Slow down a bit and get ready to get in the mood. Starting Monday, October 30th you’ll be able to get yer groove on at our Rock 301: R&B Camp! Pump the bass and get your wah-wah pedal ready, we’re gonna bust out all those rhythm and blues jams that you love! You’ll be able to get the audience’s booties shakin with classic R&B hits from the 70s, 80s and beyond, such as “Standing on Shaky Ground” by The Temptations/Delbert McClinton, “It Ain’t Over Til It’s Over” by Lenny Kravitz and “Get Ready” by Rare Earth! This camp concludes with a set at spot at our gig at Famous Dave’s on December 2nd.

Rock 301: Build-Your-Own Camp-Jazzy Camp

Starting Tuesday, October 30th

If you are a band of five Rock Moms or Dads who think it’s about time to get out of the garage and do some serious damage, we have the opportunity for you! You provide the musicians and songs, we’ll provide the studio and attentive one-one-one assistance from one of our awesome Instructors to help you be the best band you can be! Top it off with your very own slot at our gig at Famous Dave’s on December 2nd, RCFD’s Build-Your-Own Camp option is a great way to whip your ideal band into shape!

If you are a band of five Rock Moms or Dads who think it’s about time to get out of the garage and do some serious damage, we have the opportunity for you! You provide the musicians and songs, we’ll provide the studio and attentive one-one-one assistance from one of our awesome Instructors to help you be the best band you can be! Top it off with your very own slot at our gig at Famous Dave’s on December 2nd, RCFD’s Build-Your-Own Camp option is a great way to whip your ideal band into shape!

Jamshop: Classic Rock

 Starting Saturday, November 4th

Looking for a little more Mojo on the weekends? Why not give Jamshop a try! The JamShop, beginning Saturday, November 4th, is aimed at all levels of musicians who are interested in getting together, during the weekend, to play in a casual, laid back and collaborative environment, focused on fun Saturday morning jammin! The November Jamshop will have a Classic Rock theme, so come on down and make your Saturday morning rock!!

Open positions: This camp is filled!

These camp positions are all first come first serve, so act fast and get the camp you want! Click on the position you want in the camp of your choice to put down your deposit. This will secure your spot. Also, if you’re a guitar player who wants to try his or her hand at something different, try signing up for a bass position for one of our 101 or 201 camps and try something new! It’s a great way to branch out into a new instrument! Heck, you already know the basics!
