Starting Wednesday, January 4th

Our beginner level Camp! At our Rock 101 Camp beginning Wednesday, January 4th, we’ll ease you into the idea of being and working in a band. Over four rehearsals we match you up with players of your skill level and introduce you to being in a band in our relaxed, professional and non-judgmental atmosphere! Rock 101 is where your Rock journey starts!

Rock 201: CBGB Camp

Starting Sunday, January 8th

Grab your leather jackets and spike your hair– we¹re giving the New York chic a punk rock makeover! At our Rock 201: CBGB Camp starting Sunday, January 8th, you can rock the classics of the bands who rocked the legendary New York nightclub that birthed punk! Plug in, cut loose and jam out to such hits as “Psycho Killer” by Talking Heads, “Call Me” by Blondie and “I Wanna Be Sedated” by The Ramones! This camp concludes with an in-studio VIP performance party on your fourth rehearsal.

Rock 201: BLACK CROWES CAMP

Starting Wednesday, January 4th

Good ‘ol fashioned rock ain’t dead… it’s just beginning! Be a part of the younger generation of bluesy, southern rockers at our Rock 201: Black Crowes Camp, starting Wednesday, January 4th! Power up your Bluesdrivers and get ready to ‘shake your money maker’ to the hits of the modern rockers who showed us that with a little ‘brotherly love’, meat & potatoes rock can still roll! Tune up and jam to such Black Crowes hits as “She Talks To Angels”, “Hard To Handle” and “Remedy”! This camp concludes with an in-studio VIP performance party on your fourth rehearsal.

Rock 201: Grateful Dead Camp

Starting Thursday, January 5th

Whether you have a ‘touch of grey’ in your hair or a ‘dark star’ in your eye, we have the camp that will get you truckin’! At our Rock 201: Grateful Dead Camp starting Thursday, January 5th, you’ll get to lay back and groove out the sweet jams that made The Grateful Dead the most legendary touring band in America! No mellow will be harshed as you plug in and jam to such Dead classics as “Uncle John’s Band”, “Sugar Magnolia” and “Friend of the Devil”. This groovy camp will even end in your own Dead (one-date) tour for your selected friends and family at a VIP Performance Party.

Rock 301: Americana Woman Camp

Starting Monday, January 2nd

Tune up your acoustic guitar and send those boys away… It’s time to celebrate the women who have been holding our hearts with their amazing voices, songs and laid back, down-home arrangements. At our Rock 301: Americana Woman, beginning Monday, January 2nd, you’ll be able to set the somber stage with the heartland tunes from the female singer/songwriters who captivated audiences for decades! Dim the lights and bring out those candles, you’ll be able to jam to such classic hits as “You Never Can Tell” by Wildflowers (Emmy Lou Harris, Dolly Parton and Linda Ronstadt), “Something To Talk About” by Bonny Raitt and “Midnight in Harlem” by Tedeschi Trucks Band! This camp concludes with a spot at our January Gig on January 28th!

Rock 301: Red Hot Chili Peppers Camp

Starting Tuesday, January 3rd

If you want to add a little funky-hot spice to your life, then this camp is for you! At our Rock 301: Red Hot Chili Peppers Camp beginning Tuesday, January 3rd you can stick out your tongue and play your favorite hits by the alt-rock funk legends, the Red Hot Chili Peppers! Jump like a Flea to all the classic RHCP hits such as “Dani California”, “Give It Away” and “Higher Ground”. This camp even concludes with spot at our January Gig on January 28th! But please, let¹s keep it under seven guitar players at this camp OK?

Rock 301: OzzFest Camp

Starting Tuesday, January 3rd

Crank your amps and get hungry for some bat heads, Ozzfest is coming to town! At our Rock 301: Ozzfest Camp beginning Tuesday, January 3rd, you’ll be able to bang your heads to the raging bands who have rocked the stage at Ozzy Osborne’s own heavy metal festival, Ozzfest! Track down your Metal Zone and sharpen your flying V, we got the heavy riffs and screeching vocals that will make your trains crazy, such as “Whatever” by Godsmack”, “Bodies” by Drowning Pool and “Fairies Wear Boots” by Ozzy Osbourne. This camp concludes with a spot at our January Gig on January 28th! We hope Sharon Osbourne doesn’t sue us…

Rock 301: Twin/Tone Camp

Starting Thursday, January 5th

Check yourself into a ‘soul asylum’ in the greatest city for local music—The Twin Cities! At our Rock 301: Twin/Tone Camp, beginning Thursday, January 5th, you’ll be able to jam out to the classic alt-rock and Americana bands from the local label Twin/Tone records! Mix your acoustics and electrics in the home of the Cherry Spoon Bridge, to the style of the bands that defined the Snowy Apple in the late 80s and early 90s! Plug in and rock to such classics as “Runaway Train” by Soul Asylum, “Left of the Dial” by The Replacements and “Save It for A Rainy Day” by The Jayhawks. This camp concludes with a spot at our January Gig on January 28th!

Jamshop: Classic Rock

Starting Saturday, January 7th

Looking for a little more Mojo on the weekends? Why not give Jamshop a try! The JamShop, beginning Saturday, January 7th, is aimed at all levels of musicians who are interested in getting together, during the weekend, to play in a casual, laid back and collaborative environment, focused on fun Saturday morning jammin! The January Jamshop will have a Classic Rock, so come on down and just jam on some classic riffs this mornin’!

Rock 101

Starting Wednesday, February 1st

Rock 201: Weezer Camp

Starting Sunday, February 5th

If you want to destroy my sweater, grab your guitar and power-chord away! At our Rock 201: Weezer Camp beginning on Sunday, February 5th, you’ll get to turn on the fuzz and rock by hits of the modern masters of power-pop! Buzzsaw through Weezer¹s fun and catchy 90s and current hits such as “Buddy Holly”, “Hash Pipe” and “If You’re Wondering if I Want You To (I Want You To).” (Oooo weeee oooo) you can look just like Buddy Holly at your own VIP performance on your forth rehearsal for your invited friends and family! So grab those Fenders, you don¹t have to stay ‘in the garage’ forever!

Rock 201: Three Dog Night

Starting Wednesday, February 1st

Did mama tell you not to come? Well forget her, it’s time to give some ‘joy to the world’!! At our Rock 301: Three Dog Night Camp beginning Wednesday, February 1st, you’ll be able to jam to some of the greatest ‘good time music’ of the 60s and 70s! Plug in your vocal mic and great ready to sing an old fashioned love song! ‘Celebrate’ along with such Three Dog Night classics as “Black and White,” “Shambala” and “Mama Told Me Not To Come.” This camp concludes with an in-studio performance party for your invited friends and family on your forth rehearsal.

Rock 201: Rolling Stones Camp

Starting Thursday, February 2nd

This camp is offered because of their majesty’s satanic request! All you beggars are gonna have a banquet at our Rock 201: Rolling Stones Camp, beginning Thursday, February 2nd! Rock a riff like Richards or just jaunt like Jagger, plug in and jam to the killer tunes of the greatest rock band that ever was—and still is! Get ready to rock to such Stones classics as “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”, “Gimme Shelter” and “Sympathy For The Devil”! This camp concludes with an in-studio performance party for your invited friends and family on your forth rehearsal.

Rock 301: Build-Your-Own Camp – “The Killers”

Starting Monday, January 30th

If you are a band of five Rock Moms or Dads who think it’s about time to get out of the garage and do some serious damage, we have the opportunity for you! You provide the musicians and songs, we’ll provide the studio and attentive one-one-one assistance from one of our awesome Instructors to help you be the best band you can be! Top it off with your very own slot at our gig at Bunkers on February 25th, RCFD’s Build-Your-Own Camp option is a great way to whip your ideal band into shape!

Open positions: “The Killers” Build-Your-Own-Camp is currently full but Contact Denise today to schedule your own Rock 101, 201 or 301 camp space!

Rock 301: Build-Your-Own Camp – “The Tubes”

Starting Tuesday, January 31st

If you are a band of five Rock Moms or Dads who think it’s about time to get out of the garage and do some serious damage, we have the opportunity for you! You provide the musicians and songs, we’ll provide the studio and attentive one-one-one assistance from one of our awesome Instructors to help you be the best band you can be! Top it off with your very own slot at our gig at Bunkers on February 25th, RCFD’s Build-Your-Own Camp option is a great way to whip your ideal band into shape!

You provide the musicians and songs, we’ll provide the studio and attentive one-one-one assistance from one of our awesome Instructors to help you be the best band you can be! Top it off with your very own slot at our gig at Bunkers on February 25th, RCFD’s Build-Your-Own Camp option is a great way to whip your ideal band into shape!

Rock 301: Soul Camp

Starting Thursday, February 2nd

Are you a soul man, just looking for a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T? At our Rock 301: Soul Camp beginning Thursday, February 2nd you’ll be able to jive from Detroit down to Memphis and shake a tail feather to the classic soul songs that were the hot soundtrack to the 60s! Plug in your Fenders and kick some dust into your voice, you’ll be able to rock such classic Soul cuts as “Dock of The bay” by Otis Redding, “I’ll Take You There” by The Staples Singers and “The Nighttime Is The Right Time” by Ray Charles. This camp concludes with a slot at our gig at Bunkers on February 25th.

Jamshop: Acoustic/Country

Starting Sunday, February 4th

Looking for a little more Mojo on the weekends? Why not give Jamshop a try! The JamShop, beginning Saturday, February 4th, is aimed at all levels of musicians who are interested in getting together, during the weekend, to play in a casual, laid back and collaborative environment, focused on fun Saturday morning jammin! The January Jamshop will have a Country/Acoustic theme, so come on down and countrify your Saturday morn’!

These camp positions are all first come first serve, so act fast and get the camp you want! Click on the position you want in the camp of your choice to put down your deposit. This will secure your spot. Also, if you’re a guitar player who wants to try his or her hand at something different, try signing up for a bass position for one of our 101 or 201 camps and try something new! It’s a great way to branch out into a new instrument! Heck, you already know the basics!
