Our beginner level Camp! Over four rehearsals we match you up with players of your skill level and introduce you to being in a band in our relaxed, professional and non-judgmental atmosphere! Rock 101 This is where your Rock journey starts!

Rock 201: CSNY Tribute Camp

Starting Sunday, February 28th

The Byrds?, Buffalo Springfield? The Hollies? Forget those guys, we got the best of ‘em all! At our Rock 201: Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young Camp beginning February 28th, you’ll get to rock n’ roll to the legendary tunes of arguably the first rock super-group, CSNY! Grab your acoustics but don’t be afraid to rock ‘em hard, you’ll get a chance to sing the awesome harmonies of such classic CSNY hits as “Ohio”, “Wooden Ships” and “Teach Your Children”. This camp will even end with your own VIP performance for your invited friends and family. So don’t hesitate, the Marrakesh Express is taking off without you!

Rock 201: The Rolling Stones – “Sticky Fingers” Camp

Starting Wednesday, March 2nd

Put on those black blue jeans because it’s time to get your fingers sticky! In our Rock 201: ‘Sticky Fingers’ Camp beginning Wednesday, March 2nd, you’ll be able to play the entirety (or as much as you can muster in four weeks) of The Rolling Stones’ seminal 1971 album Sticky Fingers! Get your Mick Jagger snarl on and play some sticky Keith & Mick licks in this intermediate-level camp as you continue to explore the inner-workings of a band dynamic! Plug in and play the key tracks from Sticky Fingers such as “Brown Sugar”, “Bitch” and “Wild Horses”! This camp concludes with an in-studio performance party for your invited friends and family.

Rock 201: Classic Rock Camp

Starting Thursday, March 3rd

Punk? Metal?? JAZZ?!?! Forget all of that! Sometimes the best kind of rock is Classic Rock! At our Rock 201: Classic Rock Camp starting Thursday, March 3rd, you’ll be able to rock out to all those classic hits you grew up with and know by heart! This intermediate level camp will allow you to continue to explore the band experience while playing the soundtrack to your life, with such classic rock hits as “American Woman” by The Guess Who, “The Seeker” by The Who and “Fortunate Son” by Creedence Clearwater Revival. This camp concludes with an in-studio performance party for your invited friends and family.

Rock 301 – Build Your Own Camp: Dark Side of The Moon

Starting Monday, February 29th

If you are a band of five Rock Moms or Dads who think it’s about time to get out of the garage and do some serious damage, we have the opportunity for you! Our Rock 301: Build-Your-Own Camp will allow you to gather your own friends and musicians together and go through the Rock Camp For Dads experience on your own terms! You provide the musicians and songs, we’ll provide the studio and attentive one-one-one assistance from one of our Instructors to help you be the best band you can be! Top it off with your very own slot at our Bunkers gig on March 26th! The Build Your Own Camp is the perfect way to develop your band!

Rock 301: Alice Cooper Tribute Camp

Starting Tuesday, March 1st

Take out your black leather, silver studs and white facepaint—it’s time to feed your Frankenstein! Get snarly while rockin come iconic riffs and ravishing choruses, at our Rock 301: Alice Cooper Camp beginning Tuesday, March 1st, you’ll be able to worship the original bad boy of Rock n’ Roll! Get up on stage and show the audience that no more are you Mr Nice Guy as you blast all of Alice Cooper’s greatest hits, such as “School’s Out”, “Poison” and “Feed My Frankenstein”! This camp concludes with a gig at Bunkers on March 26th.

Rock 301: British Invasion Camp

Starting Tuesday, March 1st

Beware all you Yanks, the Red Coats are coming! Not with muskets or rifles, but with Rickenbackers and Stratocasters! At our Rock 301: British Invasion Camp starting Tuesday, March 1st, you’ll be able to celebrate our brothers across the sea who were celebrating American music with their own brand of rock n roll! Get the tea and crumpets ready as you rock out to such classic 1960s British Invasion hits as “Anyway You Want It” by Dave Clark Five, “My generation” by The Who and “She’s Not There” by The Zombies. This camp concludes with a gig at Bunkers on March 26th.

Rock 301: “Crap My Kids Listen To” Camp

Starting Thursday, March 3rd

Tell em to do their homework and they just roll their eyes, slam the door and crank their stereo. We can’t complain; we did it ourselves 20 years ago!! But now it’s our turn to piss them off—by playing the rock they listen to! At our Rock 301: ‘Crap My Kids Listen To’ Camp beginning Thursday, March 3rd, you can rock out to the new generation of punk and hard rock that all the kids are jamming to! Plug in and get ready to get angry (at the trash they didn’t take out or the homework they didn’t do!) and rock out to such current hits as “Teenagers” by My Chemical Romance, “Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down” by Fall Out Boy and “The Only Exception” by Paramore. This camp concludes with a gig at Bunkers on March 26th.

Jamshop: Acoustic/Country

Starting Saturday, March 5th

Looking for a little more Mojo on the weekends? Why not give Jamshop a try! JamShop, beginning Saturday, March 5th, is aimed at all levels of musicians who are interested in getting together, during the weekend, to play in a casual, laid back and collaborative environment, focused on fun Saturday morning jammin! The March Jamshop will have a Country Theme, so come on down and get your jam on!

Open positions: This camp is filled!

These camp positions are all first come first serve, so act fast and get the camp you want! Click on the position you want in the camp of your choice to put down your deposit. This will secure your spot. Also, if you’re a guitar player who wants to try his or her hand at something different, try signing up for a bass position for one of our 101 or 201 camps and try something new! It’s a great way to branch out into a new instrument! Heck, you already know the basics!

Rock 201: Modern Rockabilly Camp

Starting Sunday, April 3rd

All those cool cats who are in-the-know have a secret that really swings: Rockabilly never died! At our Rock 201: Modern Rockabilly Camp starting Sunday April 3rd you’ll be able to jump, jive and wail to those Rockabilly artists who kept the spirit alive in the 80s, 90s and today! In this intermediate-level camp you’ll be able to rock an upright bass and electric hollow body like your forefathers to such modern Rockabilly tracks as “Psychobilly Freakout” by Reverend Horton Heat, “Outlaw Heart” by Tiger Army and “Prisoner of Society” by The Living End. This camp concludes with an in-studio performance party for your invited friends and family.

Rock 201: Kiss Camp

Starting Tuesday, April 5th

Are you ready for the most fire-breathing, tongue-wagging band to rock the RCFD Studios!?! Starting Tuesday, April 5th all you ‘creatures of the night’ will get to show your ‘charisma’ at our Rock 201: KISS Camp! Grab you face paint, because you’ll get to play the tunes of the legendary hard rock band who invented the rock-spectacle, such as “Calling Doctor Love”, “Detroit Rock City” and “Shout It Out Loud”. This camp will end in your own arena rock show (contained conveniently in the confines of RCFD Studio A, of course) for your invited friends and family!

Rock 201: 90s Hard Rock Camp

Starting Wednesday, April 6th

Ah, the 90s! Time of Pop, Hip-Hop and Grunge… That’s all fine, but what about something harder? At our Rock 201: 90s Hard Rock Camp starting Wednesday, April 6th you’ll get to plug in and turn it up and rock out to the classic Hard Rock songs that kept it real in the 1990s! Crank those Big Muffs to ‘10’ in this intermediate level camp as you continue to learn about the band environment, and rock such classics as “Would?” by Alice In Chains, “I Alone” by Live and “Interstate Love Song” by Stone Temple Pilots! This camp concludes with an in-studio performance party for your invited friends and family.

Rock 301 – Jackson Browne Camp

Starting Monday, April 4th

Have you been ‘running on empty’? Well never fear, we have the camp ‘for a rocker!’ At our Rock 301: Jackson Browne Camp beginning Monday, April 4th, you’ll be able to jam to the hits of legendary 70s singer/songwriter Jackson Browne! Strum along to the classic mind-boggling melodies and AM radio anthems to a cheering audience, such as “Doctor My Eyes”, “Here Come Those Tears Again” and “Running On Empty”. This camp concludes with a gig on April 30th.

Rock 301: David Bowie Camp

Starting Tuesday, April 5th

Can’t find your protein pills or helmet? Well worry not! At our Rock 301: David Bowie Camp starting Tuesday, April 5th you can grab that guitar and your glitter and pay tribute to the legendary musical chameleon! You can play all the hits of the iconic glam-rocker throughout his long career, such as “Space Oddity”, “Changes” and “Suffragette City”. This camp concludes with a gig on April 30th.

Rock 301: Build-Your-Own Camp – 3 Decades of Women That
Rock

Starting Thursday, April 7th

If you are a band of five Rock Moms or Dads who think it’s about time to get out of the garage and do some serious damage, we have the opportunity for you!
